Wraparound Care

Wraparound care will be offered for up to 25 pupils from 7:30am until 8:50am for breakfast and after school from 3:30-5:30pm which will include a snack, drinks and fun activities such as sports, craft and games.

Morning Breakfast club cost is: 

  • £5.00 per child

After-school club costs are:

  • 3:30-4:30pm - £7
  • 3:30-5:30pm - £10
  • 4:30-5:50pm (for 1hr post extra-curricular club) - £7

All pages should be made through MCAS with at least three days notice required. 

 

Childcare Grant Payment Service

Waltham Gateway Academy is registered to receive payments through the Childcare Grant Payment Service (CCGPS).

If you are a student and receive a Childcare Grant from Student Finance England, you may be able to use your Childcare Grant to pay for eligible wraparound childcare at our school.

How it works

  1. Apply for a Childcare Grant through Student Finance England if you are eligible.
  2. Set up your Childcare Grant Payment Service (CCGPS) account.
  3. Link our school/wraparound childcare provision to your CCGPS account.
  4. We will submit details of your childcare costs through the CCGPS.
  5. You will receive a notification asking you to check and approve the payment.
  6. Once you approve the payment, the CCGPS pays the childcare provider directly.

Parents/carers need to approve payment requests through their CCGPS account, and payments cannot be used for upfront costs such as deposits.
