Subject Leader for Physical Education – Jordan Gibbon
My name is Jordan Gibbon and I am the Subject Leader for Physical Education. I have been leading PE for many years and have a deep, longstanding passion for the subject.
My personal sporting interests lie mainly in football, but I enjoy playing and watching a wide variety of sports, including badminton, tennis, golf, and darts.
My vision for PE is rooted in getting children moving and helping them develop a positive, lifelong relationship with physical activity. I believe this relationship is crucial to helping our pupils grow into happy and healthy individuals, both physically and mentally.

My aim is to ensure that every child, regardless of their starting point, has the opportunity to participate, enjoy, and thrive in sport. I love coaching and seeing children build confidence as they make progress with skills they initially thought they couldn't do.
Crucially, I want to inspire our pupils beyond the school gates; throughout my career, I have loved seeing children take up new sports, join local clubs, and continue to thrive in those sports years later. Most of all, I want our children to embrace movement, discover the joy of physical activity, and love the subject as much as I do!
