Reception places deadline looms

Limited places are available for our reception class starting in September – and parents / carers are reminded the deadline for doing so is this Thursday.

The cut off for the first-round allocation of school places for children aged three or four-years-old with birthdates between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022 is midnight on 15th January. They can apply by clicking on the link below.

Parents who have already submitted an application for their child will receive notification of their primary place on National (Primary) Offer Day on 16th April.

Principal Lindsay Holness said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming pupils into our reception class in September.

“It has always been the plan to establish and then grow the school. We will eventually have seven classes of 30 plus 12 children in the RSP.

“We’re delighted with how quickly our school has become a community and an integral part of village life since opening in September.

“We have, as parents / carers would expect with a new school, first class resources. But we are much more than a fantastic building.

“I am lucky to have a wonderful team who are incredibly proud of the relationships built with children and their families.

“Most importantly, the children enjoy their time in school and, as a result, are thriving.”
